Merry Christmas and a really exciting New Year
Wow, what a year! We have seen the building grow day by day, from a selection of holes in the ground to the heating being turned on.
We have been really lucky to get key experts to share their thoughts and ideas with us. I cannot mention you all by name but thank you to all who have accepted our invitation to come for ‘the tour’ and share your knowledge of best practice. These include: Neuro Consultants, CCG Commissioners, NHS colleagues, clinical leads and our new third sector friends.
Not only are your offers of help really appreciated, we have listened carefully and even changed some of the original designs. Thank you. So what does the New Year bring?
We are hosting two Recruitment Open Days: Tuesday 12 and Thursday 21 January, 8.00am until 9.00pm. These are opportunities to meet us, hear our care ethos and ambitions and have a good look at our fabulous building.
Good care and rehabilitation is a team effort and we want to be the best team. So if you’re a brilliant nurse, housekeeper, cook or therapy assistant come and see what we have to offer.
Stroke Care Pathways
Professor Tony Rudd CBE, NHS England National Clinical Director, is helping us to host a lunchtime meeting on best Stroke rehabilitation care pathways. If you have a particular passion for good Stroke care, either from a clinical or personal perspective, drop us an e-mail to find out more.
So finally, may I wish you a restful Christmas and a really positive New Year.
