Support Workers £8.85 per hour
As we are becoming more established and our resident numbers are increasing we are recruiting full time and part time Support Workers – days and nights.
Could you make a difference to peoples lives? Can you demonstrate empathy and passion? Do you always see the best in people?
The Marbrook Centre is an award winning specialist neurological and dementia care provider in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We deliver specialist 24 hour nursing and therapy services for adults with complex and long term neurological conditions, which include multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury and dementia underpinned by our ethos of competence, choice and compassion.
Previous experience of working in a care environment is not essential, our focus is support workers who share our passion for ensuring that we deliver first rate care with compassion and courage.
We need people who care, who can demonstrate empathy and passion, and who have good communication skills. You’ll need to show a strong commitment and work ethic, and with a person centred approach in enabling our residents to have real choice and control over their futures. In return you will be valued and encouraged to develop your skills further through our commitment to training and support.
We strive to create and maintain an environment which is professional, safe, comfortable, looks fantastic and delivers the highest quality support and care.
If this is you, we would love to hear from you – working with us will give you a rewarding, challenging, diverse and exciting career, where no day is the same. To apply for this position please send your CV to email@example.com.
The Marbrook Centre is committed to protecting and safeguarding vulnerable adults and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity. We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all applications.
Our approach to rehabilitation, recovery and re-ablement is comprehensive and goal directed, paying specific attention to health, sustaining and making relationships and enabling residents to start to have choice and control over their futures.
You will be required to deliver every aspect of our residents care, including personal care and maybe asked to administer medication where necessary training will be provided.
