Senior Nurse – £18.54 per hour

12 hour shifts, full time and part time (rotating days and waking nights)

We also have bank hours available.

The Marbrook Centre is an award winning specialist neurological and dementia care provider in St Neots, (PE19 8EP). We deliver specialist 24 hour nursing and therapy services for adults with complex and long term neurological conditions.

With our own in house clinical MDT, (including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Psychology) we offer outcome focused rehab care for those living with a life changing incident such as ABI, Spinal Cord Injury or Stroke and long term neurological conditions such as MND.

We also have a specialist atypical dementia service which cares for those living with Early Onset Dementia or conditions such as Korsakoff Syndrome.

We are looking for RGNs/RMNs/LDNs who share our passion for delivering first rate care with compassion and courage to join our growing team. As a Nurse at Marbrook you will be mostly based in our neuro rehab service, but you will also be required to support our dementia service as required.

Reporting to the service manager you will be supervising a team of support workers, and will oversee the smooth running of the shift. All of our nurses deliver every aspect of our residents care, ranging from personal care to managing and administering medication and you must therefore have a hands-on approach.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, you will work with the therapy team to create and implement personal care plans, you will facilitate admissions and discharges, and you must have the ability to lead and inspire the team. Previous experience is essential, and experience of working in physical rehabilitation is desirable.

As a Senior Nurse you will be leading the shift and will be the person in charge of the out of hours service (with on-call manager support), and you will be expected to make sound clinical judgements whilst role modelling best practise and inspiring junior staff to achieve their potential.
