On the 3rd of May, The Marbrook Centre is celebrating its first year anniversary. To mark this occasion we want to do something which brings together the whole of ‘team Marbrook’. An inclusive event for patients and residents either here, or who have been discharged in the last 12 months, all of our staff and any of our families we can rope in. All joining together in an activity we could all enjoy and that may raise a bit of money for one of the charities we support.
Based in The Marbrook Centre gym, we want to use a mixture of our wheelchair accessible bikes and our exercise bikes to together peddle the 128 miles from Marbrook to Brighton and we want YOU to join in.
If you are able peddle 50 meters or 50 miles it doesn’t matter, the point is to achieve our goal as one team, whatever life may have thrown at us in the last year. Our charity for this year is the Stroke Association, as this is one of the causes that has touched the lives of some of us recently. Speak to one of the Therapy team and book your place today.
