CCTV in a care setting – our 3 year review

CCTV in care homes is a highly contentious subject and one we have touched on before (To See or not to C…CTV ) but in the last 12 months the debate has become even more high profile. Indeed, Dominic Grieve MP led this exact debate in Parliament, it’s been featured on the BBC and championed by the Jayne Connery’s high profile Care Campaign for the Vulnerable. The Daily Mail regularly leads with some upsetting headlines where CCTV is often suggest as a ’cure’, but his topic isn’t as simple as some of the newspaper articles would suggest.

As our 3rd year anniversary is looming, we thought it was a good time to review our own findings, including analysis of incidents where the outcome for our residents had we not invested in CCTV, would have been very different. To read the full review click here
